If you want to see the Belmont Mill boarding house, better make it quick. Without some stabilization, it probably won't be standing much longer.

This is the building where the cables from the Belmont Mill run to- it looks like it was powered by steam as there are old boilers in the lower levels.

The company that owned the mine didn't go out of business until 1956. The engraving shows miners setting up a drill. You can see a closeup of the engraving here.

Some of the workings up at the mine site itself. Note the cables running from the middle left to the bottom right corner of the picture- they were used to lower ore cars down the steep track, otherwise they'd have been going about 200 m.p.h. at the bottom.
