Pine Grove

A comparison, between a photograph from A.L. Abbot's 1973 book, Nevada Ghost Town Trails, and May of 2003. A building has vanished entirely.
Thoughtless pinheads have burned some of the mill lumber for their amusement. I hope they get worms.
Headstones slowly settle into the soft- albeit rocky- dirt.

The stone building at the east end of town, near the sign

Would I climb up the hill and get pine sap all over me just to get another view of this building for you? Of course!

I don't know what this building was, but it sure seems like it should have been the school.
A fish-eye view of the interior of the "school" or whatever it is.
A view looking east
Were Pinegrovians a short race of people? Or has this building sunk a bit over the years?
Go upstairs, if you dare.

Some gravesites are still in good shape
