What Was

This site was a silver/lead mine and at one time had a 250 ton mill operating. The mill operated from 1921 to 1927 (a 120 ton mill preceded the 250 by a few years) although mining took place up until the '30's. Named after the founder of the mine, "Pop" Simon. (Paher)
